Story Starts Here
Dewey's pizza was born from a simple love of great food and community. Our founder, Dewey, grew up watching his grandmother stretch dough by hand in a tiny kitchen, filling the house with the warm aroma of fresh tomato sauce and melted cheese. That memory became a mission.
In the early 2000s, Dewey opened his first location on North and South Road in University City, Missouri — a neighborhood spot where locals could gather over a slice of something truly special. Dewey's pizza quickly became a University City institution, beloved for its hand-tossed crusts, bold flavors, and welcoming atmosphere.
